Comments And Suggestions
We are happy to accept and consider comments and suggestions from our patients. Please present your views in writing at reception.
Disabled Access
At Llanedeyrn Health Centre there are reserved car parking spaces for the disabled marked in the car park. Wheelchair users may access the surgery by the front entrance. There are both male and female toilets near the front entrance as well as a facility specifically for the disabled. If access proves difficult to any of our disabled patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.
Complaints Procedure
Llanedeyrn Health Centre aims to provide the highest quality service to all of its patients. One aspect of a quality service is that complaints are dealt with quickly and efficiently. If you have a complaint or a concern about the service you have received from the doctors or staff working at this practice you are entitled to ask for an explanation. We operate an in-house complaints procedure to deal with your complaints as recommended by the Department of Health. This procedure does not deal with matters of legal liability or compensation.

In the first instance of a complaint, an informal comment can be made to any of our staff with an explanation usually requested. More serious complaints should be addressed to the practice manager, Ms Sharon Lockwood and these can be either verbal or in writing. Complaint forms can be obtained from the reception desk. Ms Lockwood will ensure that the matter is investigated thoroughly and as speedily as possible and we aim to report back to you within two weeks (in exceptional circumstances it may take longer). The practice must ensure confidentiality therefore we cannot provide confidential information without proper consent if you are not the patient in question.
